In honor of Valentine's Day we put together a few Sassy Boudoir Mini Sessions and BAM the slots filled up in a few hours! Words cannot describe how much fun I had with all of you Sassy Girls! It was like one big dress up-slumber party. A little bit of dramatic make up, thanks to Adrianne Bataska, a Mimosa and whoo hoo we were havin' fun bustin' those poses! All of you ROCKED it! I bet your hunnies had to pick their jaws up from the floor after seeing their personal slide shows. Here are a few favorites...
I was anxious to see him. What would he think of my dress? Where were my shoes? Did the flowers arrive yet? Did I remember everything? Then as the worrying started to build, one of my brides maid handed me a folded note... from Kurt. It read, "I can't wait for you to be my wife. I love you!" *big sigh* and all of my fears melted away... Seven years later and I'm thrilled to be your wife! Happy Anniversary Love!
I have been working on a bit of album designing this past week for my clients and an upcoming bridal fair. By the way, beautiful brides and grooms! Lakehills Church in El Dorado Hills is hosting a bridal fair on Saturday, March 06th. Come on out, visit my booth and many more of our local wedding vendors. Fabulous prizes to be had!
Here is a recent layout of Adrianne and Tony's lovely wedding day from this past October. I have a feeling we will be adding quite a few more pages to this one. They are too cute. Happy three month anniversary, Adrianne and Tony!
Last week I had fun hanging out with Kerry Garrison and Jules Bianchi during their Light Location and Love Workshop in Anaheim. It was a wonderful day of networking, photographing a super CUTE bridal party and of course gleaning some awesome wisdom from our fabulous presenters.
the boys Jules in action... Ja, our handsome groom Bev, our stunning bride and ending it with a Bianchi sandwich. Sweet!
Are you part of the Mariea Rummel Photography Facebook page? If not you're missing out on all the action! I tend to announce upcoming events there first and then here on the blog. So, here is all the fun...
To celebration our up coming holiday of looooovvvvve, I'm throwing two Sassy Boudoir Sessions in Sacramento (say that out loud ten times) for you girls. One on January 31 and the other on February 07. (don't worry I'll have you home in time for the game on the 07th) Limited spaces are left. So fire me off an email if you want all the details.
Corrie and John are hopelessly in love with each other and their long glances and frequent smiles at one another, explained it all. "We weren't looking for love. With God's guidance, love found us and we knew instantly that this was it!" Corrie, you are gorgeous! FAVORITE! Their first look... Love it! During the mid afternoon at the Bodega Bay Lodge on New Year's Eve, Corrie and John exchanged vows surrounded by an intimate group of close friends and family. A little bit of rain never hurt anyone... Off to the beach for some more photo fun! Whoo hoo! And a lovely reception at The Duck Club Restaurant followed Corrie and John, thank you so much for the honor of being part of your romantic-holiday wedding! Much blessings and love to you both.
There is something about seeing your little ones meet Mickey and Minnie for the first time that makes you act like a kid again. It's those famous cartoon characters we have grow to love that are walking, some talking and oh so huggable, right in front of our eyes that makes us so giddy.
This past week we went on a little family vacation to Disneyland. I haven’t been since I was FIVE. Yes, yes I know… Crazy! It was about time! So this leads me into my next, Love It or Leave It installment: Disneyland
LOVE IT The Disney music that play as you enter the park Seeing Mickey and Minnie for the first time when you come around the bend into the plaza Dinner at the Blue Bayou All the fun hidden facts in the park: the skull on the headboard in the Pirates of the Caribbean is authentic, Fantasmic lasts about 22 minutes and costs $30,000 to produce, Jingles was Mrs. Disney’s horse on the Carousel, there is an Eeyore parking sign in Indiana Jones in the movie room Super Favorite Rides: Space Mountain, Small World, The Tiki Room, Pirates of the Caribbean, Hollywood Tower of Terror, Midway Madness and California Screamin Princess Dinner at Ariel's Grotto (you can meet all the Princesses at one time, as you eat) A Pineapple Spear
LEAVE IT The mobs of people that show up on Friday night ;0) Matterhorn, come on Disneyland it really needs a face lift Sore feet (next time I think I'll wear a pedometer, I'm really interested in seeing how far we walk)
Even after four days of Disney fun, it was hard to go home. Hope to be back soon! A post is always better with a picture, so here is a sneak peek of next week's entry.
He's home! Steven is home on leave for a few weeks and I had the privilege of spending an afternoon with them as a family and capturing some sweet moments. Love this face! If you haven't read part one about Steven, Theresa and their sweet kiddos, feel free to scroll down three posts.
